Girls Generation, a k-pop girl group, takes New York City.
They pulled up in a dazzled, purple bus with their name on it to promote their album, The Boys. Hundreds of hardcore, American k-pop fans welcomed them. They even sang one of the girls’ song as they got off the bus. Lucky for them, they all stopped to sign autographs and talk with the fans. Toward the end, they all filed inside toward a backstage area.
Girls Generation formed back in 2007 in South Korea. They’re also known as SNSD and are made up of eight members. Back in July, they announced that they were releasing a sixth album this month. The album is called Holiday Night and will be in celebration of their tenth year as a girl group. This Saturday, they’re holding a concert in Olympic Hall to promote the album.
